Redefining Studio Raphael’s brand identity was one of the most challenging and rewarding design projects of 2024 for Studio AR. The goal was to strike the perfect balance between an established visual identity and the founder’s vision—something that felt bold, creative, and handmade while remaining clear, functional, and adaptable across different media.


From the beginning, we faced the complex challenge of merging structure with artistic freedom. The brand needed to exude creativity without sacrificing usability as much as possible, ensuring it remained recognizable and effective across digital, print, and merchandise. Through five intensive rounds of proposals, we explored various typographic treatments, handcrafted textures, and modular layouts before landing on a solution that felt genuine to the brand’s artistic mission while reinforcing its professional presence.


A key breakthrough came from embracing the very essence of collaborative artistry. The final identity features multiple art elements that function both as individual design pieces and as integral parts of the brand system, reflecting Studio Raphael’s mission to unite artistic visions under a cohesive brand. The use of bold, dynamic compositions and versatile graphic motifs allows for endless adaptability, ensuring the brand remains fresh and engaging across different touchpoints.
