DANZANTE, a renowned brand of Italian DOC wines, commissioned Itaca and Reyero Studio in 2021 for a bottle redesign. The goal was to create a striking yet accessible look—elegant enough to stand out without appearing overly luxurious or costly. Tasked with balancing these design principles, I developed two unique proposals to meet the challenge.

Design Concept

Working within the framework of DANZANTE’s established branding, I created two distinct visual directions:

Concept A: Focused on the literal meaning of "Danzante" (dancer), the designs featured illustrations of dancers to evoke grace and movement, reflecting the brand's name.

Concept B: Explored the metaphorical "dance" of liquids in motion, using graphic elements like waves, circles, droplets, and textured patterns to represent the fluidity and rhythm of the wine.

Each concept was refined into three label variations, resulting in a total of six designs. This process combined storytelling with modern aesthetics, ensuring the final designs were both memorable and aligned with DANZANTE’s approachable yet sophisticated identity.
